It is the story of the modern world-modern parents-modern girls-boys who are supposed to be civilized-more cultured.

Mala was sent to a far off hill station for education. She was sent away by her father because her mother had died and her father had married another woman. Mala came back after the lapse of 10 years. And to her dismay she found her father a different person. The immense wealth that he had earned by fair and foul mean had corrupted him. Her step brother and sister were also taken to drinks-twist dancing-mid night parties. She tried to reform them as she thought that these were evil habits but she was taunted that she could not tolerate their happiness as he was a step sister.

And one day Nature set its hand for justice. The father lost all his wealth and was imprisoned. The entire wealth was forfeited.
Mala was the only hard working and sober person.

This is the story of Mala's trials. This is the story of a turbulent young beautiful girl who faced the innumerable difficulties of the modern way of life and stood the onslaughts to restore peace and happiness to her family.
